David began his career as an intern for Martin Scorsese while studying film at NYU. After graduating he co-directed Cure For Pain, a feature rock doc that screened at 20+ fests worldwide. The project was repped by the Gersh Agency and distributed by Cinetic. As a branded content director, his clients have included Google, Red Bull, Vice, P&G, NBC-Universal, and Intel. In 2020 he served as a writer/producer on CLOSE UP BY E! – a daily entertainment news series for Quibi (RIP). Most recently, he was Deadline’s video director, capturing interviews and motion covers with Hollywood’s crème de la crème.
In the narrative space, David’s genre shorts have played and won at global fests including Fantasia, Telluride Horror Show, Mórbido, and Scream Fest. He recently wrapped his first feature film - Wardcliffe - a true crime drama set during the covid lockdown. He will next be directing a new installment of the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes franchise.
